      1. In Short, we are faced with an extremely complicated system(human brain interacting with sound waves) Furthermore, we can only judge how much music is liked by the steam numbers on the output side of the black box zeitgeist.

      1. The problem is that we currently accept music preference to be a mystical black box.

    1. Not specifically, but music is important to society.

    1. We basically only know sales numbers.

    1. Not enough people have taken the time to explore the intricacies of what determines and guides musical tastes

    1. The internet indirectly caused the problem, by creating a platform, it is responsible for a “genre explosion” giving a larger number of artists to exist, opening new niches. This showed that music taste is not collective, or semi-collective, even though it had appeared that way before the internet
